So beautiful with how the Prince falls in love with Cinderella. He showed no interest in the other girls because they all just came to the ball to meet and flirt with him. When Cinderella arrived at the ball, she didn't go over to meet with the Prince as she was fascinated with how amazing the palace looked on the inside. This caused the Prince to be mesmerized with Cinderella as she wanted to go to the ball to enjoy herself like he wanted to. Such an amazing way for these two to meet and fall in love with each other.

After so long of wondering why exactly Prince Charming immediately takes interest in Cinderella, I finally understand. If she had gone with her stepfamily, she would have become another face in the crowd to eventually follow the same behaviors of the other maidens when it was time to bow towards him. Because she arrived alone an nowhere near the crowd, it caused her to stand out. Her dress was also in an original style rather than a tweaked version of whatever popular gown design the other maidens were obsessed with.

According to TV Tropes, the Prince yawning and looking up at his father, it was the old fashioned way of flipping a person off.

I always loved the King as a character throughout the films. He's a very hot-headed, fiery-tempered old man, but he's still a very kind, benevolent, fair ruler who truly values romantic love. The third film was endearing for how it expanded on his younger life in mention, how he loved his late wife with all his heart, and he truly desires the same happiness for his son, the Prince. And the fact that he longs to be a grandfather before he passes on is equally adorable. He may be the King, but he values family first.

A lot of people say things about Cinderella like the Prince "saved her" when in this entire scene clearly he didn't want to even be there, and it's shown in another part in the movie that he wasn't in the mindset to be forcefully paired up with anyone. The whole ball was at the king's hand.

Something I feel no one talks about is how bright & wide scale the palace is versus what Cinderella’s world has been up to this point. She just wanders in, in utter wonderment taking in this whole new world.
