the scene where she reminisces the evening to the animals always makes me cry. she just wanted one night away and then it was gone in the blink of an eye, but just having that was enough to keep her going. then when the animals show her the fairy god mother left her the shoe as a memento... its beautiful and heart breaking. cinderella gets a bad rep but she'll always be my favourite disney princess

The way she was just so thankful for it, even if it was a hot minute of fun. It was more than she had had in a very long time. This scene made me cry because it really shows how much she was going through on the inside and still smiled happily. Those three really did a number on her. But Ella still had her grace, dignity and inner beauty. I love her for it

One of my favorite Disney movies ever! I actually was never scared of the chase part. I’ve seen even more terrifying from the Mouse House

My brother and I made up a version of this where the ball is on New Year's Eve, hence the magic expiring at midnight. At the start, a crowd can be heard starting to count down the remaining seconds, and then at 0:22 the crowd shouts "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" And during the escape at 0:51 - 1:43, fireworks could be exploding in the sky throughout.

My favorite scene in the movie. It's an intense race against (literally) the clock. The animation, the colors, the pacing - it's just a damn good scene! The only thing I'd have changed is to have the clock face come a little closer at each 'dong' to really sell how little time remains. But! It's a very minor nitpick. Gorgeous scene!

The attention to detail for 12 dings is just 'chef's kiss' after that they turn into reality.

Why did they send the headless horseman after her? Lol

Look at the pursuing guards and tell me with a straight face that you’re not scared. Between being covered in black shadows and the blood red capes and horse eyes, they look like a demonic hunting party. Especially when the lead guard draws his sword. Looking at this scene now, as an adult, I actually felt afraid for Cinderella’s life.

As a kid, I always thought the women crowding the prince were throwing themselves at him. If you listen closely, they are actually asking him about Cinderella, asking, "Who is she?" and "Isn't she lovely?" That's adorable!

Cinderella is an old fairy tale that was published a few centuries before Disney told it as an animated movie!

I don't think I was scared of those guards chasing Cinderella when I was a kid. Guess my brain is wired differently.

This race is too intense, I mean at that time I thought they are bad because Cinderella lowkey rejecting the prince and they kinda wanna kill her. But now I know they are just trying to stop her from running away. But the guards could be less scary, though 😅

But this is a disney classic I could never forgot. I really love this scene and how they show how Cinderella is thankful for the fun time even if it's short and told her friends 😢😢😢 its heartbreaking but you can see how golden she is

By the philosophy: Cinderella does at means a love, horse means a life, dog means a friend. Mice means enemies: stepmother, sisters and a housekeeper, in the palace but... mice help Cinderella... In the future, Anastasia will fall in love. The housekeeper will become friends with Cinderella, in the palace.

I had nightmares for years because of this scene. It was way too intense. The 2015 live-action film made it less scary.
