I have a 2019 M40i and it’s overall great. Very few annoyances…not looking forward to whatever replaces it because it’ll no doubt lose the idrive controller, buttons and be plastered with screens.

Thankfully the 2019 doesn’t have the side mirror update, so no wind noise.

I have the adaptive dampers, 20” wheels and the run flats rides fine to me but 19” wheels would be nicer.

Yes, but in a couple of months there will be the new (2025 MY) X3 with significant changes.

As much as I like and have got accustomed to the new IDrive 8 interiors, the overall craftsmanship and execution of this still looks absolutely awesome, and would prefer it myself.
