When Sean O’Brien, president of the teamsters, testified before a Senate committee, GOP Sen. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma, who used to own a plumbing company, tried to grandstand. But O’Brien quickly showed him who’s boss.

the average annual pay for an UPS Truck Drivers in the United States is $58, 259 a year.
my mother was a teamster. And with her pay. my brother and I had full health benefits until we had our BA degress. once we were out of school we could pay a far reduced rare for kaiser heath plans. I am still banking with the same credit union today. that has been over a 40 year relationship.

I've worked union jobs since I was 17. Even served as president for 4 years. Often people I knew from school would diss unions. Now, as they retire, they realize they underestimated their costs as their stocks tank and interest on their mortgages triple. My benefits cover cost of living increases (inflation), health services, education, and even burial. and I retired at 70% of my salary. Yeah, I support unions, but get involved and make it a good union
