Very well explained . DGET seems to be more easier than V look up but one of the major limitation as you mentioned is that we cannot drag formula downward for multiple row which will be actually required to check many records & not only single record

Thanks Sirjee, but I have one confusion in the last example where data is extracted on the basis of Rate, what if there are same rate appearing in the rate column (duplicate) then DGET fails, in such scenario what to do?
