I've been fumbling with LMMS for a little while and it is the only DAW I've ever used and I'm really happy with it for all of the incredible stuff it offers. I searched YouTube for beginner tutes on LMMS but these end up being very hectic, mysterious, and complex tutes produced by someone who has used LMMS heavily and assumes the viewer does too. I've finally found a tutorial series that focuses on the fundamentals in easy to follow detail (the stuff about MIDI plugging was especially useful, as well as where to create a repository for VST plug-ins. Additionally, I had no idea that you could record your MIDI along with any of the tracks you already have made. Fantastic! Thank you! Finally, someone who clearly articulates the fantastic power of this emerging open-source software. You've shown great respect so, in return, you've earnt a very happy new subscriber. The only thing that I like in FL studio is their Piano roll. Good thing I found this free daw! I don't want to spend that high especially if you're only a beginner and just want to explore beat making.

i have 13 Daws Right now i downloaded since last 2 weeks and FL studio is my favorite!
and i currently Using LMMS well, it's free and i'm still a beginner, i need practice.
i'm tired playing instruments for making a song that's why i started using DAWs.

edit: Tip: i recommended you to use Beat/Bassline and put third Party Plugins etc. i guarantee it's usefull and easy. rather than put plugins directly!
