I decided to consult the video first prior to the start of a project, and Bill showed the process seamlessly and without fluff...great job!

Thanks for the video bud. The wife got new, nicer but bigger hinges for all out doors. The router and your video is going to save me a lot of time

This perfectly told me what I done wrong with a small project recently installing hinges and not being content with how I routed out the space to make the recessed. Thanks heaps man.

You make that look like hard work mate.

Slap hinge down. Center drill all holes. Stick one screw in middle and knife the edges.
Remove hinge. Route out both short edges then using your hand as a fence take a few mm at a time until you hit the knife life which pings out. Then corner chisel and fit the hinges.

Never mark your hinges out with a pencil, screw the hinge down where you want it, score it with a knife then take the hinge off and score the line deeper with a knife then router it out will be a much neater finish and the painter won’t moan at you about the pencil marks on the door 👍

Just a safety tip to anyone fitting/removing a bit or making depth adjustments is to take the battery out first 👍

Really cool stuff. We'll explained without all the unnecessary bollocks you get from America how to guides. Good one.
