Thanks for the feedback. I start to cover the coding in later videos in a very basic way so I hope that helps. Cheers, Martin.

I'd definitely like to see you make a start to finish video series on your project. Since this is your introduction to Arduino, you have previous electronic experience, and have proven to be an effective Youtube presenter, this will help and entertain lots of viewers.

I'd love to see more of this! 09:45 Servo - 10:23 Jumper Wires - 10:25 We call that a full size breadbord :3

I used to feel the same way, but now coding is my favourite part when it comes to projects like this! Just dive in and you'll learn to love it :p

@smabonham Thanks for the feedback...and yes, I've seen some interesting Watt-meters too. Had to chuckle about your comment on code writing....
Thanks for posting.

The timing of this video is very good! I also purchased an Arduino to use in my solar powered experiments. In in the process of building a solar tracker at the moment (currently evaluating light sensors) that will use an LCD to give instructions on how to move the panel array, but I will be adding 2 axis motor control at some point. I also want to build a DC power monitoring unit similar to a Watt's up, but with non-volatile logging. I have also recent found the MPPT project you reference.

@UnivegaSuperSport Thanks for you kind comments. I have many projects on the go at the moment but I will be making time for a series on Arduino soon, Thanks for watching and posting.

@electrodacus I asked about their experience and I was told they had tested the theory of taking it down to 100% of original capacity with a dummy load...no less than 90 times in a test. It still functions fine and charges 20% quicker than the same capacity lead acid. I hope to test all this myself soon.
Those stats on the LiFePO4 are impressive, and I'm sure the weight to energy ratio is excellent...the lead crystal batteries apparently weigh more than a comparable lead acid.

Thanks for taking the time to create and post your Arduino kit video. Your conversational style is terrific. I have a couple Arduino Uno Rev3 boards I'm experimenting with. I plan to get more as they're a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to checking out your Arduino projects, keep them coming!

@MrMac5150 Well...some of it is loan equipment and the rest I purchase myself...I'm unemployed at the moment so I have to be careful how I spent on kit for my channel. But ebay and careful shopping around helps. Thanks for watching.
