While this is mildly amusing as a joke. We need to make sure there is healthy communication in a relationship.

A person, man or woman, should know that they are entering a relationship with a gamer, and that while the gamer believes their partner is important, healthy gaming is a hobby that should be respected as well.

If the couple can not decide or agree on a schedule or limit to certain activities, which includes gaming as well as other hobbies, they should be comfortable with politely and vocally expressing their belief that the partner has been gaming/watching TikTok/any other hobby, for a long enough period of time, and that they wish to spend time together. Assuming the gamer has zoned out and lost track of time, something that is common with any hobby, but especially gaming.

yeah I’m not gonna let my wife dictate what i do in my free time

so i actually acted like this for three hours (context me and my boyfriend live about an hour from each other and rarely see one another because of our opposite work schedules so i was visiting him like the one time out of the month i was seeing him at the time) and he didn’t realize it and continued to play. i was very *in the mood wink wink* i wasn’t expecting anything in that way but i also just wanted his attention because i never got to see him and this was the one time i got to. so when he got off and i was angry he was so confused. so i know it’s not fully my fault but it’s also not my boyfriend’s fault. if i had just spoken up and told him i wanted to hang out i know he would have for sure gotten off his game. don’t always blame your s/o for these things if you’re not completely communicating what you want as well.

EDIT:: i had also told him prior to getting on his game it was cool because it was getting toward like 8pm and we were winding down anyway.
