This reaction is actually really common in Asian countries. They want boys because they won't get married off and leave the family, and they're more physically strong and can help out a lot more. Also, having a boy means they can pass down your family name. Nowadays these things aren't necessarily true anymore, but people still have that mindset due to traditions.

You know what made this so special, at the beginning, the mother was wearing white and all the girls wore pink and boys blue. She didn’t care about the gender of her child, she loved her child unconditionally.

My mom had 3 girls as her kids and my dad never complained. He thought that we were a gods gift. Even though we were supposed to have a boy. But even now he thinks we will be the most successful girls and follow him

I am 66, almost 67 years old and there might be very few videos I have not watched.
This video reminds me of how special children are, how blessed we as parents are to have them, and how they, in return, can impact our lives, as well as thousands of lives of people on the Globe....just having the right mindset.
