Three stages of inner development

3 stages of consciousness...
Stage one: You are unconscious and you think everything in your life is happening to you and you are just the way you are.
Stage two: You realize that you can change yourself and you develop new habits, behavior, and thoughts. You have developed the skill of observing yourself so you can decide what you want to change and what you want to keep.
Stage three: You stop observing yourself and express authentically without consciousness of yourself. You only become aware of yourself when absolutely needed. Most of the time, you express yourself naturally without observing your thoughts or actions.
I was in stage two for many many years. About seven years to be exact. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t stay in a state of peace and why my feelings and emotions kept fluctuating. Once I reached stage three, I realized why.
We humans go through cycles of unconscious to conscious and back to the unconscious.
