How to Make Scrolling Movie Credits in Resolve 16

This is a super simple way to make scrolling credits for your video project or movie. You don't need to animate it all yourself, you can use this little effect and get some great results.

I find it's even better when placed half on top of the last scene and over black for the last half of the scrolling title and fades out before running off the screen. I also find titlers that allow me to place the text right on the screen and adjust it there easier to use than Davinci's

how do i control the space it scrolls? i don't want it to go all the way from the bottom to the top as I have some text on top that I don't want the scrolling text to go over..any help would be greatly appreciated

Casey, I'm just now finding your videos but you're awesome. Very quick and to the point and show exactly what I'm searching for. I'm not new to video editing but I am new to DaVinci Resolve, so I've been seeing you a lot haha. One thing about it, tutorial presenters are often annoying and talk too much. For whatever reason, you're perfect. Yeah sure you goof and stuff but it's done in a very quick and moving manner. You're actually moving forward while you're goofing off. And you got a great sense of humor. Also, I know it sounds cruel but a lot of presenters have annoying voices. But again, yours is PERFECT! Very enjoyable. I'm sure I'll be seeing you again. How can we have credit roll on half screen only? Like we have some sort of image or video on first half and bottom half have rolling text which will scroll bottom to top and it will end at second half of screen?

I keep looking everywhere and I like the way you explained the process in this video (even though it was two years ago lol). I'd like to learn how to use this function better.
