Always had a special place in my heart for Arctic Cat. I hope something gets them back on track. I finally switched to the Polaris Titan but I swear by the ZR 200 my grandson rides and am watching closely for when the 400 is suitable for both his demeanor and development

Thanks to all you "arctic cat is falling behind" "when will we see a new chassis" people I was able to pick up a 2021 Arctic Cat Hardcore Alpha last February for 4 G's off the MSRP and put that towards a Silber Turbo kit. Best riding sled I've rode yet, has better shock package than any of the manufacturers, engine has been reliable, great clutches. Sure the chassis is 10 years old but I have no problems with it and I came off a G4 Summit and ride an Axys a lot. End of the day I have a great riding 200 HP gas n go turbo alpha for less than a Turbo Doo or new Matryx Boost. Have a great Winter everyone.

That 400 single has "snowbike" written all over it. An SDI 2-stroke 400 single on a snowbike with CVT would be unreal. We have seen the patent filings...I hope it happens because at least it would be a new Cat chassis, finally.

The blasts are as much as any ski-doo with the 600efi motor. Unless you need the 3/4 size, I don’t see the value here.... hopefully textron doesn’t slowly allow Cat to become obsolete

I love Arctic Cat's. I grew up on them but haven't been on one since my late teens or early twenties & now I'm forty six

Wonder if AC reads these comments because I agree with most of them.

Your last sentence was meant to say "they are focused on losing more market share"

Hey Arctic Cat, Why are mountain machines getting so much attention versus trail machines? Not much is missing from the procross chassis just a slideaction 2.0 .... which almost exists with snowcross machines.

The industries 1st 3/4 size snowmobile? How do you guys, of all people, not know that the Evo was the 1st. Many people did read the article in sledder mag in 2018 when the evo was released. Maybe I'm missing something, but if an evo isn't a 3/4 size sled, then what is it?

As much as I like Cat I feel they really hurt themselves this year. It was their 60th anniversary and they have nothing new beside a few different track lengths and power steering that they got from Yamaha. They should have planned to come out with something completely new hell they have been running the same chassis now for 10years. Since both ski-doo and Polaris now have turbos I feel cat riders aren't going to wait around any longer for something new. I know I'm not.

im surprised they havent released new chassi or suspension this is what they need my last machine was a 2019 zr 6000 limited with act shock technology but in the bumps it really didnt feel any better than my past sledd 2006 polaris IQ 700 so im moving on next time around skidoo or polaris they really lifted the bar in suspension chassi and motor technology and clutching too sorry Cat

Squeeze a 500 twin in the Blast of about 82 hp. Call it a Puma. Give it a vintage style paint job and sign me up. Yea I know it’ll never happen but I can wish. Frankly I’m just glad they are still in business.

Time will tell for Arctic Cat. They have fallen way behind the competition. As for always nice review! 😁

Have they fixed their 800 engines in the Riot? My uncle got one last year and went through 4 engines in <200km. Still sitting at the dealer for repair. He's trying to talk Cat into trading for a 2022 model. Always loved Cat, and they used to be extremely reliable.

I hate to see Arctic Cat as I know it fall to the wayside, they went missing in the early 80s they might go missing in the 2020s... they need to be innovators again, come out with something as big as the ZR.

What a disappointment, they completely ignored again their bread and butter the ZR...I believe this is going to come back to bite them hard...I have been a cat guy for 30+ years I currently have a 2019 ZR 8000ltd and unless they do something next year with the ZR I am going to Polaris...

No mention of ADAPT? I almost have myself convinced the new narrower clutches were developed in preparation for a new, narrower chassis...
