Depressing how behind and unmotivated both companies seem to have become.

Feels like the beginning of the end to me.

The making of this video took more effort than what was spent by Artic cat in R&D for the last few years…

On an xc racing level, that “old” chassis zr rxc sled, still might be the best on the market. The results don’t lie. The triangular front end chassis design and lay down engine make up the strongest front end in the industry with the lowest CG. I’m surprised Yamaha has not brought more to the table with the partnership in regards to fit & finish and potential direct injection two strokes. Also surprised with textron backing Cat that more has not been updated. In combination, they have what it takes to challenge the market leader Ski-Doo but don’t seem to care. Maybe one day…

Shows you how innovative YamiCat is right now. You were able to spend 3:52 talking about their entire lineup. Sometime soon their buyers may be able to have a reason besides Bold New Graphics to purchase. Ski-Doo and Polaris are killing these two right now which is a shame because the Sidewinders are fun sleds.

I’m holding out hope for cat. Maybe they are just taking it easy this year on the lineup so they can fix their manufacturing process and get everything out on time. Maybe once they get everything streamlined again we’ll start to see some new stuff

You had me at ... basically nothing new. I was hoping they could fix the flaws related to the skid, chain and oil case. The list of issues on TY riders have been fixing for years. Unfortunately I have moved on. The short video for TWO (2) product lines speaks for itself. Thank you for the update.

You know they don’t have a whole lot of new stuff coming out when it only takes a 4 minute video to talk about 2 different manufacturers 🤣

These two brands are only going to fall in market share. If they truly want to stay in the game the put out new product. Yes there products work well but look skidoo and Polaris. Their products work well and they still continue to put out new stuff. That is the reason they are at the top. I understand they cat as made improvements to their chassis but the overall design is from 2012. Give us something new already. If they cant do that then at least make some major changes to it. How about new running boards with wide cutouts? How about an updated gauge? How about new plastics? These are all things that wouldn't need a major redesigned but would give people a sense that Cat wants to stay in the market.

Came here for the comments, I wasn't dissappointed!

It’s an unpopular opinion, but it make sense for arctic cat to not come up with a new platform this year. Polaris had a 24h window for snowcheck, so some of the option are now out of stock and same thing for brp. Concentrating on delivering for 2023 will be quite the challenge for most manufacturers.

Its unfortunate Yamaha didn't buy AC. Textron is a conglomerate looking at bottom line $.

There are more serious problems in the snowmobile industry then Arctic Cat & Yamaha not releasing big changes atleast for now. The threat of snowmobiling is becoming worse each year despite all the warnings and articles. Modified exhausts, trespassing damaging farm land, disturbing wildlife, (this winter we saw 2 snow machines chasing deer on private property, drinking and driving, littering the trails with blown belts, spark plugs, empty oil cans etc which our club picks up each season. If irresponsible riders continue this behavior we are not going to have many places to ride in the future. Re routing trails is becoming almost impossible. Landowners are really getting fed up. We should be thankful we have 4 amazing snowmobile manufactures. Without trails the manufactures would have no reason to build any. Let's pray that this will never happen. The message is very simple STAY ON THE TRAIL. Or loose it. A big thanks to snowtrax for all the advice and support.

Yamaha lost me when they went all 4-stroke. They decided to abandon 2 strokes completely so now their entire line-up is one of two engines? The CTEC 600 is extremely durable and reliable. I'll take that RXC please. That is one nice machine!

I switched to skidoo this year from arctic cat. I hope cat can turn things around I'd really like to get back onto one in the future.
