Yes. Vertical Monitor Setups are Better for Work

Are Vertical monitor setups better for productivity? I think they are, depending on what type of work you usually do. Vertical Monitors are great for office work with documents or programming.

Vertical is perfect for split screen. It just feels like having two smaller monitors, instead of two skinny split windows

I recently bought a monitor arm and also tried this setup!
It's only been a day, but I find it useful for when reading books on the vertical display.
I just rotate the monitor when I move to watching videos.
Auto-rotate would be nice for my use case lol

i have 2 27" horizontal monitors and 1 24" vertical monitor and its perfect

I am late but anyway, if you hold shift then scroll it will work as horizontal scrolling

Its painful when ur laptop is not the same resolution as the monitor or vice versa.. heavy apps like solidworks adapt to a particular resolution depending on which is ur primary screen and if u have two different modes open on two screens, its just annoying..

this might be a stupid Q. but how would extended display work with a V and a H monitor... so I use Horizon HVD client for my work and i currently extend my 2 H moniters and i like havign 2 displays....Just wasnt sure how it would work if the 2 monitors have different orientation...

You can scroll horizontally with ctrl or shift or alt and scroll. One of those 3 depending on the apps
