This game meant so much to Kyler Murray! He wanted to go to Texas coming out of High School, but Mack Brown wanted him to play another position that wasn't QB. So like a Texan boy that he was tried going to another in state power house in Texas A&M. Then that didn't work out either, so he went up north to Oklahoma. That's one heck of path ge had! Congrats Kyler!

Man Kyler was so elite in college. One of the best college QB’s I’ve ever seen he gets overlooked because he only played 1 year as the full time starter in a good program. OU’s new QB reminds me a lot of Kyler too. Tons of arm strength and elite speed and decision making. Hawkins is a bit raw still but he’s a true freshman playing with a bad/injured OL and his top 5 WR’s are all hurt right now. Next season once OU has a healthy/great WR core again and a great OL I think he’ll be a Heisman finalist. He’s gonna improve his accuracy a lot and he’s already got everything else down outside of experience. 2025 Sooners in the SEC is gonna be cinema. They already have a great defense and getting a great OL to pair with their roster will be scary. SEC is deeper than ever Texas is elite now too. Good times to be a football fan
