Say My Name! A Beetlejuice/Helluva Boss Animatic

When I heard Alex Brightmans voice in Helluva Boss Episode 2, I immediately got the idea for this video. It took almost a month of near daily work, but in the end i'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope you are to.
Now if you'll excuse me, my mind, back, and hand need a break.

Disclaimer: Cus people in the comments keep saying it, I feel the need to put it here. Nothing in the Animatic is traced. I admit that I took reference shots from the episodes, but did not trace anything, and simply redrew them because I thought they would fit the scenes well. If some shots look cleaner than others, its because I happened to feel like taking my time on the drawings that day. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk

Fun fact: The man who played Fizzarolli in “Helluva Boss” is the same guy who played Beetlejuice on Broadway, Alex Brightman. So, the guy in this animatic is the same guy who played Beetlejuice and Fizzarolli.

Yep, I knew it was only a matter of time. Octavia= an angsty teenage girl with daddy issues, and Fizzaroli= A sadistic demon who loves wearing stripes and is voiced by the musical talent known as Alex Brightman. It’s all right there! Of course someone was bound to make this animatic! And I’m so happy they did!
