Can we just talk about the fact that Eugene can canonically do a flawless gravelly old man voice? I like to imagine that as soon as she gets into character, her voice drops five octaves-

I love how Beetlejuice (never seen anything other than this song) is making a face like "I've done nothing wrong, ever, in my entire life" after Lydia asks what he said. 1:16

the transitions from the actual characters to the parts they're playing is *so* smooth, and the animatic has so much personality! love it <3

I just noticed I love how at the start they make a shift from their OC clothes to the Beetlejuice attire I think

so many details i didn't pick up on the first time either: opening in regular clothes then switching to costumes, the struggle over control represented by who holds the umbrella, just glorious.

Amazing animatic!!! It’s weird to see Wendy use more sarcastic and sassy expressions but I love how well she portrays the character of Lydia. I also enjoy the usage of Eugene’s tail to enhance the performance while in the past it was kinda just there. And overall it’s brilliant how you managed to get me to view this animatic as a performance that the characters are giving rather than an animation that was made of the characters.

2:46 I love how you animated him frustrated and angry but the moment he gets in her view he shifts to appear calmly confident. Such an awesome detail.

Yet again an amazing job! Wendy's sass and facial expressions killed me, we don't usually see that with her but fit perfectly for the role she's playing in the story. Really what makes this one so great is the expressions on everyone, as well as how creative you got with BJ's reality trickery, not a lot of people go as far and creative as you do and I'm so happy you did that! All around amazing job, I feel blessed I get to enjoy these every ~3 months. Have a wonderful week you deserve it!!!!

This, again, proves that animation is without question the best medium. I watched the Broadway performance of this scene and the level of personality and creativity expressed through animation can almost never be matched through normal means.

I love seeing Eugene using her tail as part of the performance, it really shows how in her normal lives she hides herself but when she’s on stage she lets her whole self shine!!

Having absolutely no context for the OCs in this I still think this is one of the best musical animatics I've seen and I've seen a _lot_ of them. The framing of everything, the expressions, the movement, absolutely brilliant! The fact that these are adapted characters makes it more impressive, they fit the roles so well I'm legitimately surprised to learn their designs predate this adaptation. Fantastic work!
