D’arce the Knight’s S Ending is by far the easiest to achieve as you don’t have to fight any enemies in order to achieve it. You must make your way to the Grand Library in past version of Ma’habre, solve the Mannequin puzzle, then obtain 3 torn instructions in order to create a spell book and learn Rebirth of the Beloved and use the spell on Le’garde’s dead body in his cell to achieve the S Ending. This ending sees Le'garde resurrected as a bloodthirsty ghoul claiming to be a god.

I like how he is called the "True god of fear and hunger". In ending A the girl transfigures in the "false" god of fear and hunger because she will save humanity from the old gods. Le'Garde however just became a monster, like he always was. Fear and Hunger are not positive things, so a true god of those things should be equally miserable.

Kinda weird how impactful legarde was in the end. After he was revived he sat on the gold throne after enki defeated Francois and gained immortality and knowledge rather than godhood. Legarde even though as a new god who unlike enki took the power of he old gods legarde was still stuck and tied to the old gods even if they left reality long ago. Not to even mention all-merrs ascendancy. When we discover allmers corpse in mahabra, he is missing one eye and all-mer was never stated to have one eye yet another god does, the sulfur god. When gods that have the power to rival the old gods are born, generally it is through ascendancy like with the girl as you take in 2 of the gods powers however, one side of the god can have more of an effect on the other, like how the girl took more after the god of the depths rather than her mother. All mer is said to ascend into godhood after death with the sun god, and was killed by that worlds Judas because they both knew what had to be done, a being of a higher creation was needed to topple the old world, so human all mer using the name of the fake god as his father gained influence and ascended, however he discussed burying the negative sides of humanity before ascending. All mers ascension had 2 sides of a coin to land on, an extremely violent benevolent god, or an extremely divine holy being. The sulfur god isn’t a new god, it is actually all-mer, when ascending the sun god and his negative emotions that were part of his mortal body won in the struggle of ascension creation the violent god causing the situation of termina 2 for the characters and many more. It’s a big reason why death was highly noted and pointed at in termina 2 as it is used as a way to become a new, free from all, just like sulfur. Legarde on the other hand used Olivia’s sister to create the machine god to put everyone in a simulation away from the old gods domain only ruled by science and knowledge, thus creating a world in which the old gods don’t exist but no magic or the supernatural exist, the world we exist in today. In the end I wonder what will happen with the situation between sulfur(all-mer) and the machine god.
