Thank you for this!! Found your channel just yesterday and I can’t say thank you enough for the work you’re doing to expose the JW’s nonsense - and for giving ex-members a voice. I was raised in the organization myself and often felt SO out of place when I had to awkwardly avoid people telling me “happy birthday” (because of course it was considered a sin to even thank someone for saying that). When I came to Christ many years later, I now know that we can rejoice in who are in Christ, and that includes enjoying the day we were born lol. God bless! 🙌🏽✝️

Before I even listen to this I am not a JW but birthdays go back to ancient Babylon when the skies were divided into signs of the zodiac and each was given the name of a God or goddess assigned to people on the day of their birth. I do things either a bit earlier or a bit later.
