Changing Baroness Bon Bon from a greedy selfish queen in the game to a straight up psychopath in the show was one of the funniest changes I've ever seen.

I have a theory — there are no actual rules in Sugarland. The Baroness is counting on trespassers to break these rules so she could get more victims.

1. Tell no one about Sugarland — the Baroness is counting on her victims to tell their friends/siblings about Sugarland. Even someone as selfish as Cuphead couldn’t resist having loose lips.

2. Don’t eat The Castle — she wants to bring her victims as close to the castle as possible so she can capture and eat her victims easily.

I think Cuphead and Mugman turned into sweets not because they broke the rules but because they stayed in Sugarland long enough to be turned into candies. I think BonBon’s victims would’ve turned into candy regardless of whether the broke the rules or not, I think the actual rule of Sugarland is the longer you stay in Sugarland the more likely you’re gonna transform into candy.
