I played this song while driving to a beautiful sunset spot where a girl I once loved use to take us. The sun was glimmering off the passing lake on the way up to the spot, people laughing on their boats, light breeze in the air. It was amazing. I felt sadness and joy at the same time. It was wonderful. I felt alone and yet connected to things around me. For anyone going through hurt for any reason. Remember, life's color will return. Just be still and look for the sun.

Chasing daylight speaks to me on a soul level. It feels like the start of a journey. And yet there's some sadness behind it, like it's a journey being started by someone who's been hurt again and again, but they keep standing back up and refuse to fall to darkness. They keep deciding to do good despite all the pain. Then it all clears up and they find what they were looking for.

It's midnight right now....between 2023 and 2024 and I am letting my soul drift to the sound of this cosmic music. In that soul drifting journey I realized this and shared it with YOU. Look at the image above. There is more darkness than light. The darkness between the Stars is vast! And yet we look at the lights. The darkness IS the canvass for the brilliant stars! We might be surrounded by darkness - the senseless wars, the loss of loved ones, the suffering, the economic distress, the fears for the future, the divisions because of the pandemic or other issues - BUT, please realise this, as another fellow human and soul, that is connected to all of us: the STARS can only be bright, if they are surrounded by darkness. YOU are a shining light in that sky. BE the Star, light a bit around you. Thousands of bright Star like you - full of kindness, full of hope, Love and HUMANITY are shining in unison with YOU right now. The darkness might be there, but don't fear. The light is there too. I want you to know that this mix was the official soundtrack of my thesis journey. I have listened to this hundreds of times pulling all nighters and struggling through writing my chapters. I have stared at the incredible visuals allowing them to utterly feed my soul. I even used a screenshot of this image in a learning unit I presented to one of my classes.
