I became a believer in the 1980s at a COGIC church in San Luis Obispo, California. This is one of the first Christian songs I ever heard. I came to Christ with severe emotional problems but the congregation welcomed me with open arms. I'm forever grateful to Jesus for leading me to them! Let me add that I'm a citizen of the USA, Ireland, and Mexico (not African-American).
