Porsche 981 GT4 IPD Plenum Install

Installation of the upgraded IPD intake Plenum and GT3 throttle body onto a 981 GT4. I found it much easier to remove the right bank intake runners for install. It makes it so much easier than removing the center console and loosing the shifter cables. Whole process took me about 2 hours from start to finish.
I noticed a better throttle response once it was installed. I plan to tune it with the Cobb OTS for now. That will be coming soon.

Thanks for this video - used it today to fit the IPD kit to a Boxster S. Bolts 1 and 6 of the air distributor were a massive pain to remove and to get back on due to the tiny space, but worth it for the reasons you stated.

Have you thought about upgrading the engine mount? Function first or Torque solutions inserts? I only ask as I have yet to see an install video 😂

May I know is the 3.4 and 4.0 the same engine model it just the stroke are shorter on 3.4?

Thanks good Video! It'll help as i'll probably try to install myself as well. Did you buy the Vaccum tube, vacuum actuator and MAP sensor? as they don't come with the IPD when buying new. I only have 8000miles on mine so not sure I need any of them? cheers mate!

Did you also replacethe throttle body to 82mm? Software tuning recommendable afterwards?
