Such an awesome sound at redline. 2nd-to-3rd shifts sound amazing and is pure car porn. Nice driving, too. Been watching your build series and looks like the mods paid off. Tempted to do something similar to my 981, at the very least I'll put in the Soul performance exhaust. Can't wait to see what it's like with the 997 motor in it! Thanks for posting Jon!

Lovely sounds! I’ve been there! Our little sport car performs great at the back roads and even on the highway! But at the moment we hit the track, we need more acceleration, more speed, more... everything! And then we know we’re helpless! Ahah

What were the final HP and LB numbers on your full build Cayman. I heard that the IPD plenum might not be giving as much power as expected.

Great driving these 981 caymans are so good in the corners. I own one and occasionally track it and you just have to be patient on the straights but overall lap time is amazing. Recently went to my local track and was chasing down GT40 spitting flames and Ferrari got helld up by a Mercedes but felt car was more than capable against much more powerful cars. Mine has Pdk and I noticed it really aids braking especially from high speed. Only mod on mine is X73 rear bar and Cayman S wheels with Porsche sport exhaust. I am seeing 1.3 plus cornering gs on Go Pro in corner onto main straight. I think 981 is good because it’s naturally aspirated and throttle response is awesome particularly sometimes mid corner you can make up ground in double apex corners car just leaps forward.
