I've been using these since they were in pre-production (I make kydex holsters/sheaths and reached out to the company about doing some prototyping for them and got a few pair to work with). Cant say en li ugh about how well these things cut. Have yet to find a material they dont sail right through! FYI im still on the same pair 3 years later and still going strong...

I like the raptors because I’m a volunteer fire fighter so the glass braker and strap cutter is a need for me

funny you post this... was literally about to purchase these a couple weeks ago but held off because O didn't know anyone that had them. That'll change now 😁

If these had the o2 tank key, they’d be perfect. Especially if you have to run a call on your own or are waiting for your partner to arrive

One of the few things he has demoed on the channel that I can afford and man are they awesome shears. Cut a motorcycle riding boot a while back like butter with these things

Another greed vid Sam. I want to be firefighter and paramedic when I get older and this channel has helped me learn a lot more about the paramedic side.

It would be awesome to see you review some One Shear Trauma Shears (v2 original or minis) and compare them to the X Shear. They offer kydex holsters that appear less bulky and easier to draw them one handed.

As a Taiwanese girl getting into TCCC, I bought one (through a EMS friend in the States), love it for how good it cuts thus makes modding 500D cordura made gear very easy.

Than I accidentally found out it's probably manufactured by a company just an hour drive away from the website states, these are indeed made in Taiwan

Hey Sam, XShear has a referral system you should set up. Little off for your fans, little money for the channel.

Sir, with al the respect but about first pair, the truth it is that are a good product for the money...It really can cut thick leather, jeans, layers of bandages, even thin metal flat band, what are you talking about??? It is a really nice and worthy product to have and carry..also, the lightes from the table...I have Raptor and damn, it is like a hammer heavy... i don't like, but yeah, durable and really bad ass, i can cut a coin about 2 mm without trouble...

Great review of a great pair of trauma shears!
Didn't know about them until now.
I'm definitely going to check these bad boys out.
Keep going, good to see those subs build up!

They're good, but drfinately not a Raptor killer. They have their place, especially with a sheath. I don't have any problems with my Raptors fitting in any pockets or slots.

Had my first chance to do heavier cutting with my xshears this morning. Veh vs Ped and our Pt was wearing a thick winter coat with heavy batting, and multiple sweatshirts and long sleeves. I was able to outcut my partner on the other side with a pair of Raptors.

If you have the holster mounted say on a IFAK. You can pull them towards the bag and pull them out of the holster easier
