My music teacher and I thought it was caused by the pianist wearing too short dresses. When we have too much visible legs, people tend to look at the leggs instead of the upper body. -- which is the reason why most musicians wear long dresses. It is too distracting. When I wear below the knee length dresses, I start getting comments like, "You have nice legs." LOL
