I think that moral principles come from the consensus of the majority in any given society. What the majority is willing to accept is moral, what it is not willing to accept is immoral. That explains fluidity of morals throughout human history and it's diversity across the human cultures that can be seen to this day. Moral absolutists, in my opinion, are just sanctimonious narcissists who want to pretend that only THEIR particular brand of morality is valid, and all others are not, and seek no understanding of what morality actually is and how it works.

Where do objective, absolute moral principles come from? Well, I can tell you with certainty where they do NOT come from: human beings.

Do as thou wilt. Everything is fair game. If you can do it, you are right.

It depends on the heart. Is the motive a good or necessary intention or evil?

If you steal a nuke from someone you know is about to use it to murder people, that's called self-defense and is absolutely justified. Disarming a psychopath intent on murdering thousands of innocent people isn't theft; it's self-defense.
