Thank you. Finally, after so many years I know why it kept changing.

This was driving me mad. I use LeftAlt + Shift in order to write multiple text lines at once in SQL Management Studio and had no idea it was this changing my language. And why, just why, do they change language anyway when I only have one installed on my desktop. It's UK through and through yet it decides to change to US just to annoy me. Windows 11 has a lot of annoying quirks. Thanks for the fix.

I have no additional languages and keyboard shortcuts are disabled. Yet Windows 11 still changes to ENG out of the blue.

FINALLY THANK YOU!!! Just to say i'm an IT, i work in this domain since windows 98 and i hate windows now, they hide and keep over ride our settings thats a real pain!!!
i still got 4 unwanted keyboard layouts, i tried all my tricks and it still there.
regedit preload fix not working anymore
uncheck system full control of preload keyboard in regedit not working anymore
install and deleted unwanted language that appear not working anymore.
why the hell the grey out the option to change default keyboard layout???
whats wrong with the stupid idiots in charge with keyboard layout in microsoft???
that been said i was going crazy over this issues, i hate this so much it makes me want to switch to linux...
at least in linux when you change something IT STAY LIKE THIS!

Kept thinking my keyboard was bugging and I'd have to get used to restarting my computer everytime the change happened, but now I can (hopefully) be without that. Thank you for tech assist :)

thank you so much i play minecraft and often press those buttons at the same time which caused it to switch to scottish gaelic
