just like the tool says when you start it, this is not a replacement for an antivirus, and it also recommends you install an antivirus instead of using this all the time. you can still use this if theres something thats preventing you from using a real antivirus.

It only has one problem, viruses that are not reported can't be removed because the Scanner only test if the file is identical between the checker and the virus, the most people don't make windows updates that cause that new viruses can't be checked

Probably it does the same or worse thing than Microsoft Defender. What is the point of using some hidden system apps instead of directly using the app that directly accessible and have a better interface?

Currently windows already detects viruses the moment they occur. So this is only used when you're paranoid about your computer's health. Because a small bit of viruses are well hidden. But I never found undetected viruses. Here's a good tip. If you're a pirate (like me) scan your downloaded files with windows defender before using them
