I wish I could take this journey. I visited Russia back in 1986. They have become so westernized that the difference between then and now is like night and day.

Great film! Thank you very much for making such fulfilling visuals and story. I hope more people will make an effort to learn Russian by visiting it, not ин watching western media. Добро пожаловать в Россию!

When I watched the video on my large screen, my cat noticed the ponies. He was super interested til the end. I swear he saw the snow because he kept looking up in our room as if he was trying to figure out why it wasn’t snowing inside. This is the second time he’s watching it. Thank you. Oh, I enjoyed it too. Bedankt

I haven't been on it, but studied it until I am blue in the face.THiS is not how 99.9% of Travelers experience Russia.I am not rich but have backpacked all over the world.I think I prefer my world of plaskart and hostels.

I took that train in October 1970, London to Yokohama. My first visit to Japan. You had to get the Russian visa before you could get the Polish one. Took seven days because I flew the middle section and a boat from Nakhodka, sailing between Hokkaido and Honshu. This was an exploratory visit. When I returned to Japan full time at the end of 1972, cut-rate flights had come on stream.

1:05 Volga and the Moscow Riiver are distinct bodies of water with different sizes and characteristics. The Moscow River is connected to the Volga River through a network of canals, but the two rivers are not directly connected but via the Oka River.

Beautyful,
but with one drawback; in the video there aren't any numbers, how long it takes from one city to another nor from the beginning to the end of the itinerary. Other than this beautyful.

So how much was the fare? I realize there were different classes of accommodations!
