Love this block. I prefer the other camera angle. I never felt like your hand was in the way. I think I prefer the smaller stem.

Would love to see your Walmart haul - I have to hide fabric from my husband too, I leave it in the car until he's out 😂😂😂😂

That angle works for me, I can’t do any type of filming, so you’re doing great 👍 Chris aka Chris-Raleigh NC

I think this pattern would make a cute mug mat. I would probably use smaller squares. I guess I would have to experiment.

Good morning! I’m behind 2 blocks now with this video being posted. 🥺 Things have been crazy around here too. I plan on getting caught up this week! I like the camera angle on the sewing machine better. Have a wonderful Monday!

First of all... Love this block. Secondly, camera angle... This angle makes it easier to see how the block comes together but lacks view of needle placement and presser foot for 1/4 inch seam allowance. I'm ok with just seeing how the block comes together. The other angle might be more important on a different block. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with us.

Hi, there! This is a nice block! I actually liked the previous camera angle, but that's just me. 😁 Also, it would be fun to see all of the goodies that you purchased from Wal*Mart!

Can you please specify what size cuts go where please? I’m extremely confused on what cuts are put together from the video. Unless I’m not listening close, I was confused right off the bat on the sizes of doing the half square triangles. Being fairly new to sewing and quilting, I would appreciate it. It looks like its 5” blocks but your cuts only show that we need two white 5” and I think from your finished block it has to be 4-5” blocks? It seems to me that it would be 4 - 5” blocks?

I love it but I’d prefer a narrow stem. How big should the white square be cut? Maybe 2 3/4?

Are you using a fat quarter bundle or individual fabrics?

So the snowballed blocks are also 5 x 5? Or are they the 4.5 x 4.5” blocks?
