This channel's name cracks me up.
If romping through the jungle at night is you being apathetic, I nearly fear your response to interest.

That is one of the most interesting lizards that I've ever seen. Gorgeous colors not sure if thats good or bad for making it stand out and easily spotted. Glad you spent the time with identifying this reptile.

Wow, I don't know how I haven't found your content before but this is incredible! Your information and footage is absolutely S-tier, those macro shots are so clean. How closely related are Diploglossids to skinks? They seem morphologically similar but maybe just convergent evolution? I just subscribed and am so excited to learn more as I explore your channel!

The Galliwasps have a tiny light circle at the tops of their heads. Is this a parietal eye? I was led to believe that tuataras were special for retaining "pineal eyes", but I guess they're not. Pretty neat!

I’d be very interested in you doing some videos in local Harvestment species or Velvet Worms! Great videos

Interesting that they have these myths about them. A snake-birthing Lizard with a scorpion stinger almost sounds like a cryptid.

Reminds me of the madrean alligator lizard elgaria kingii, but obviously far more colorful.

This is fantastic dude. The micro shots are super crisp and satisfying to watch. What was this captured on?

Wow, what a beautiful lizard! Such a striking underbelly they have, no wonder they attracted multiple mythologies!

Very interesting how a species that spends most of its time hidden from view developed such attention grabbing (at least to the human eye) colouration; then again, perhaps that is why it was able to "get away" with it. Or maybe it is mimicking the venomous association of other species to reduce predation? I wonder how much of a role its appearance plays in mating too.

Considering its "least concern" description on iucn ("last assessed october 2013, " says the iucn redlist website), I'm rather surprised it doesn't have any presence in the pet trade considering how visually captivating its appearance is. Part of me wonders if it is just a bad pet (for rearing or reproduction reasons, or its primarily "hidden from view lifestyle"), but I've had similar feelings for quite a few species I've seen from your videos. I know basically nothing about this kind of thing though (species care aside, the regulations/complexity/etc. of starting the "spreading" of a species as a pet), and it's very likely a good thing (the large majority of the time) that basically every time I've had such a curiosity ("does the pet trade have this?") its unmet (we already have many exotic animals that are widely abused), but it's still interesting to me how some of the things you show look like the kind of thing that would be quite (or even very) popular/desired if they were widely known about. Then again, such "popular pet" species surely make up a very very small portion of the species out there, and searching for unique things is probably more interesting from your end too, haha.

Thanks for the videos! It's very cool to get to see things you show, certainly something I appreciate! I've seen many many new species thanks to you, and it's definitely broadened my perspective on the variety of animals out there!

Is this in El Chocó? Or is that too coastal…? I know you mentioned mountains. Lol. Either way, that whole region of Pacific Colombia is so biodiverse. And Colombia is already highly biodiverse. They have the second-most number of bird species on earth, after Brazil, and some of the highest rainfall rates on earth, too, facilitating some of the lushest plant growth! I ❤️ 🇨🇴
