True that, Den. We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand.

Saw few of your videos since 3 years ago. (I also live in Toronto north York so a lot of content relates. ) the biggest take away I noticed is that you two have patience and trust the process. The formula is not a secret but most ppl lack discipline and cannot sacrifice the short term for long term gain. I was dead broke and unhappy in most of my 20s but I saved and saved and constantly went for high paid jobs. Finally in my late 20s I got a house and maxed my TFSA. I’m happy to see that u two can do the grind while maintain a positive attitude, that’s the key !

I turned 18 last February and immediately started investing with a monthly goal and I am gradually increasing my contributions! Looking to max out my TFSA in the next few years before moving to a different investing account 😄

Such a fantastic video!!! Thank you Steph and Den for pouring into us with your amazing financial wealth journey! I love the fact that you're both talking about Canadian wealth building using Canadian instruments; particularly since so much of the personal finance information available online is US-focused. I wish you both continued success and an amazingly profitable 2024 ahead!!! 👏🏾🙌🏾💫

You are an inspiration. 🎉 I feel bad for being 31 and not being financially stable. But you guys inspire me that I can still do it. 😅 specially when Dennis mentioned the student loan. Keep it up I love learning from you guys ❤

Thank you Steph and Den! You motivate me in so many ways. I made great and bad financial decisions. I bought my first home by myself which was a huge accomplishment. But I travelled more than I should have. I went to Italy, France, DR and States. I have been regretting the money spent on travel but it is what it is.

In the UK, it's 20k a year, but I like the way Canada lets you roll over any unused amount. The UK doesn't allow that.

USA viewer here - My boyfriend and I went to Spain & Portugal in 2023 also!!! It was amazing we did Lisbon, Sintra, Lagos, Seville, and Barcelona.

I’m 25, & make 130K
He’s 29 & makes 175K

We both have no car debt or student debt!

My financial goals for 2024 are to max out my 401k, go on another vacation (5K budget), save $50K
