No society that will not punish teens for their transgressions has any right to complain about teens doing these terrible things. If these teens survive this, they will be coddled by the courts, protected by the news media and covered in expensive government programs. If some law abiding taxpayer happened to be crippled in this criminal act, they will get nothing. They certainly can expect no love from a media which only love the criminal.
