The LG Wing is a really great phone that I have enjoyed a lot, but it was too little too late. The LG Wing is not the reason that LG failed, but the LG Wing couldn't save LG, either!

The LG Wing is one of the best phones of 2020 and it's by far the most interesting phone I think LG has ever made - the LG Wing is also the most fun phone of 2021. I have been carrying the LG Wing as a daily driver with my SIM card in it ever since I got it and it's a lot better than I originally thought it was going to be. However, despite how good the LG Wing is, it came too late and really didn't help move the bottom line for LG shareholders and LG electronics. The LG handset division is losing about 1 billion dollars a year, even though the rest of LG is making money, so they are trying to decide the future of the LG phones, which means we may not see another LG phone, and the LG Rollable may not happen either!

I am still running since new LG G5 H850 rooted, just got new batteries, running great with security updates every month thanks to Lineage team. Big respect to LG for thinking differently to the market. I don't think they are planning to finish the phone business as they just got patents approved for their new rolling screen phone.

Agree with you. They have good hardware, but man they need to market better and get updates out sooner. I am a huge LG fan and have been rocking LG for years and am still using a G7 that has been abused constantly yet still works great. The stupid LG bootloop issue soured so many people and for years after, people would still joke about it and bring it up which didn't help LG's image. I hope they stay in the game and can turn it around.

LG is like strikeforce of mma. Quality and unique material but couldn't keep up. The 3.5mm jack sounds incredible in my car stereo

I had a G5 wasnt a big fan sp upgraded to G6 and had it over 4 yrs. Its starting ti fall apart. Experience was great. I am however holding out for the new BlackBerry... Waiting on release info

That'll be my next phone! I'm currently on my LG G8X and it's been a great phone! Love the detachable 2nd screen and it's been an awesome dual screen device.

I just wish LG needs to slow down and focus on making great devices at a casual pace while be speedier on updates. The other thing they really need to work on is the marketing. That's always been their biggest a Achille's heel.

I ordered lg wing ... please clear my doubt about performance ...it is smooth in daily uses. Like other phones of this price segment and in my country it is around 400 USD dollar.

This saddens me. I've owned an LG phone since the optimus and I've always loved them. Currently on the v50 and your review on the v60 sold me on that as my next phone. Guess I'll hold onto that as long as I can lol.

I got it recently for 399 usd. Is it a good phone at that price? I can get a lot better cameras in this price with Xiaomi but I am not sure if lg wing is better.

so i already have one of these but tmobile dropped the price alot to 600 im thinking of getting another line...my question is do you think its a good idea? i heard that its getting updates all the way to android 13 but I want to make sure ill get at least two more years of top notch service..thanks

The wing is unique on its own. LG should just make the wing as core series. It is unique enough to capture and retain new users if matched with a flagship specs.
2 generations down the line, users will get used to this form factor and it will be what separates LG from the rest of the competitors.
I can see how the uniqueness and practicality of this design be the recipe of revival for LG mobile.

LG reputation is shattered online in the tech industry due to one thing: "software updates"....
That's the 1 and ONLY thing that has LG reputation so bad. If they can give software update at a faster pace, they will most definitely survive and thrive in the industry.
