Using Double A Gap blitzes is a great way to flush the Quarterback on a drop back pass. And when used at the right time, it can be a good blitz, too.

Check out how to call a Double A Gap crossing blitz here with a 3 under, 3 deep zone behind it. This a blitz you would only use sparingly when the game plan calls for it. There's a big risk and a big reward.

I can't stop laughing at the backers crossing putting the Center in conflict. When it works, it's a nasty pressure blitz up the middle. It might actually be a fantastic 1st & 10 blitz to rattle a young offense early in the drive. 2nd and 10 is most likely a pass. If defended well, it's an automatic 3rd & 10. It's almost like manufacturing a 3 and out if you win 1st down.
