Hey Coach, I know this is old but as a New DC, and trying to teach MS, I have a quick question. If you have an over powerful Nose, wouldn't it be better to keep him 0 to push an under center QB? Shotgun I get keeping him 2i. Just a thought, as in the MS we sometimes get monsters at a young age or would it be better at 2i and then have him shove to the opposite gap?

On your run example at the end of the video, why would the Will take the pulling guard with his left shoulder and force the Mike to run over? Without weak side safety help wouldn't you want the Will to take the guard with the right shoulder and force the run inside for the Mike and pursuing defense?

Honest question coach. Is your nose tackle a true 1 tech shaded outside the center? Or is it a 2 (2eye) who’s shaded inside eye of the guard? I know both bring their own sets of problems and solutions I just wanted to know what your thoughts were on that

I notice in 4-2-5 and 3-3-5 defenses, a lot of coaches on YT always roll the strong safety down into an 8 man box. Is a two safety look not as common in high school or is Cover 3 the main coverage teams play within this alignment and that's why the safety is in the box?
