This is one of the exercises in FPR's Low Back Exercise Program designed to prevent, reduce and overcome low back pain. The Quadruped Cat-Camel is a great exercise for an active start to the day, a warm-up before a work out, and to help alleviate low back pain. The Cat-Camel helps to reduce inflammation and bring much-needed hydration and nutrients to the disc material of the spine. This exercise is also great for mobility of the spine and activation of key spinal stabilizing muscles.

There is contradicting information on the inhale and exhale instructions. First he says to exhale when doing the cat pose and exhale when .looking up doing the camel pose. At the end of the video, he says the opposite. Watch other videos to see which is correct and go with the majority.
