As usual, your videos prompt a flurry of book-adding to my Goodreads tbr, haha. Really liked your review of The Poppy War—a couple of my friends have dinged that one but I've been meaning to read it. The kindle sample was well-written, if nothing else.

Also! You've technically read Rachel Hawkins! :P She wrote The Ex Hex under a pseudonym. I'm curious to read her newer books as well, she seems to have pivoted from her early YA days to more of a...thriller (?) writer.

I've had In The Woods (Tana French) on my shelves for years! She has the most gorgeous prose but I keep putting the book down. Maybe this will be the year I finish it.

I read The Martian a while ago, it was such fun. Hard science-y but also really damn funny. I need to read his recent novels. Definitely want to check out some of those other authors you've mentioned as well (Brit Bennett, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Margaret Atwood).
