I'm like a little kid on a Christmas eve/day. Can't wait to receive my first Porsche 917KH from Agora.

I forgot to applaud you on your idea to glue the extended pipes together rather than remove them! 👏👏That's exactly what I'll do! And I'll kick it up a notch by inserting a small strip of 18g wire as a connecting point and secure it down with a small strip of heat shrink tube. Thanks Wayne! 👍👏😃!!

This is going to be a heavy model! Heavier than the E Type I think. That engine is 'uge!!

The framework is incredible even though it is awkward to get to some of the screws, it is coming along well

I had to sand down the top of my shock as the moulding was a bit rough. Easy fix.

Ian Campbell over at Partwork Upgrades is currently working onna alternative power mod for both IXO Collections/Agora Models Porsche917 KH versions. So's that car doesn't hav to rely on 2AA or 2AAA batteries. But giv him time as he's doing other mods for other builds at the moment😁😉👍👏🤝🔌🤞🙏

The replacement oil lines are in Stage 66 (IXO box 10) - only one (the bottom one) of the two pipes connected to the engine is replaced, the other short pipe remains and will eventually connect to the oil reservoir, yet to be supplied to the left side of the car. Replacement of the pipe was pretty easy using a pair of tweezers with the car upside down.

Wayne I think you triggered my nerdy ocd bone but you may need to swap the front disc's, cross drilled disc's should sweep backwards with the forward rotation of the wheel, yours are sweeping forward into the rotation.

Hi Wayne. For the extension of the pipes. Would it be stronger to place a piece of wire/cocktail stick or whatever in the hole and then insert the extension on this piece of wire etc.?

11:01 the suspension spring on the left assembly is bulging out at this point of the build, did you ever get it to go straight?

Do I have deja vous or have you done this part before Wayne?

For others information, you are doing the accelerated build over 12 months, rather than the 24 month build. IXO only offer the 25 month build. I have to say though that the IXO offering is cheaper than the Agora 24 month offering, for those who cant afford to go with the 12 month build. The IXO build over 25 months is £1, 048.34. The Agora 24 months is £1, 319.76 - £271.42 more

The Agora 12 month build is £1, 149.00 - £100.66 more than the IXO offering. So better to get for the 12 month option, if you can afford it. Although it costs +£100 more, its worth having it done in a year. I would certainly have done this with IXO if it had been available when I started building the Porsche back in 2021.

Those pipes only one comes out not both.

I did watch you struggle with replacing the pipes and won't want you to go through that again

You're quickly catching up to where we are with the iXO build. You pointed out an aggravating and very irritating issue with this and some other builds; and that is removing parts to replace them with something else or having to remove something so that another part can be attached! Why can't they construct a build to call for parts at a point where they will not be removed, and to have the correct part in the first place! With the Porsche, this counts as 2 parts that need to be replaced! UGH.
