How to Install FortiGate Virtual Machine VM with Free evaluation License in VMWare Workstation Pt II

Starting with FortiOS 7.2.1, Fortinet removed built-in 15 days free evaluation license from the Fortigate VM images. It was replaced with the permanent evaluation license, still free. The steps to get it have changed - you now have to create a free Forticare/FortiCloud account, and use it inside the Fortigate GUI to activate this evaluation license. The license will be generated and added to your Forticloud account automatically.

I want to install it so I can use the image with EVE-NG. But the build I have doesn't get access via GUI(I can access via CLI) and ask for evaluation license which I couldn't find anywhere. Do you have any image that I can use for EVE for trial license so I can do labs with routers connected?

I tried to follow your guide with V 7.2.4 but still have license issue, I guess your guide doesn't work with V 7.2.4 version.
Is there any way to install Fortigate VM V 7.2.1 ?

hen I'm login to activate the evaluation license with forticloud account it show error " Error downloading license: Invalid product model". I'm using 7.2.4 version. Can you please help?
