Just because the child is not afraid doesn't me shes not abused. Despite near-death abuse, at her age i wasnt afraid, just angry. Even then, i didnt stop loving my parents until i was older because there were brief bouts of time they were actually nice to me, i think just to gain my loyalty. It was extremely manipulative as well & when thats all u know...u think its all normal till u grow up.
