I got out after he used my car to run me down. He literally said, "You're going to change the locks while I'm at work." We had a fight the previous night in which he punched me in my face repeatedly in front of the neighbors the next morning he drove to work and I was to take my car and pick him up from work. During the ride to his job because I was very quiet I wasn't arguing I was agreeing with everything he said. He knew, he felt that I had in that instant changed and that's the morning he tried to kill me.

This is a horrible situation again. People who have never been in abusive relationships are clueless about the dynamics of “leaving” and how doing just that might get you killed. Victims need people to listen to them, help them and still be there for them when they go back or stay with the abuser. It’s a terrible cycle of psychological manipulation and brain rewiring. It is not as easy as just leave, no matter what you think. It’s sad for her family. Her mother is strong and very much in tune with spirit. Another creep takes away a beautiful soul. 💔🙏💔
