A Necron Core World has re-emerged from the Nexus. This world is Thal'Khelnor. Nemesor Ah'Khuul seeks to reclaim this world and bring it into the fold of the Stormbringers Empire. 

Mission 1 - Discovery - Ah'Kuul and his necron forces are sent planetside. There is an initial clash as they encouter the Drukhari pirates who seek to exploit the world for their own purpose. 

This episode is available for free, and the other episodes will be available in the vault and for members.

I really like the time-lapse method of showing movement. I always find jump cuts to be jarring.

That dice box is both so cool and so worrying as you obviously roll buckets of dice so often that the product is justified!

I hate to be critical and I love skari, but I don't think this was quite enough for the opening episode of a narrative campaign.

I think it would be a good idea to check out some of the narrative campaigns that Winters SEO or Say Hi Paul have done. If you look at this batrep, what was actually different from any normal batrep, a bit of voiceover?

Am I going to have to sign up to the vault to find out what happens next? Not really because there was no narrative hook for me.

I hope this lands in the way it was intended, as genuine criticism to improve, the first episode of a narrative campaign should be dripping in narrative and make me NEED to see the next episode and the resolution.

What is the narrative here, a new tomb world and a necron overlord wants it, but some Drukhari want some relics? Apologies for sounding blunt, but who cares? That's every batrep ever.

In the wake of recent videos talking about how MWG needs to focus on what it does best to retain viewers and sign ups, I don't think this campaign is helping I'm afraid.

Maybe the story is amazing and its the best narrative campaign by the end that MWG has ever done, but nothing of that was in this first episode which is meant to sell the vault and the rest of the series.

I couldn't decide whether my first army would be Necrons or Thousand Sons; ended up starting with Necrons after my buddy told me they were the easiest models to paint by a landslide.

'Just use a silver primer and they're immediately playable. Then use green and black to details the ones you end up actually using

Love the video, great use of gravel to break up the terrain outline and make it appear more 'real'? I guess.
