Easy to get, with a high starting limit.
It's 4 points (4%) on everything.
The catch is, you can only redeem for GM products and services.

I always liked this card, but unfortunately I don't have a Wells Fargo debit card and live far away from their ATM'S and I rarely redeem for statement credits.

I love using credit karma. It helped me but my first home and first brand new car . I didn't apply them either. It's scores might be off some, but as long as you have decent scores it doesn't matter. I was approved for wellsfargo active cash, for$8000. My first large credit limit. I'm still excited. I however was denied to get an increase with my be smallest wellsfargo card.. but it was fine. I had been doing alot of applying and getting approved over the last months.

i've just applied for the chase sapphire reserve and got approved! too bad the card doesn't have 2% cash back on regular purchases, but the wells fargo one sounds perfect for your needs!

First comment! You can still get the freedom unlimited if you wanted to because you can have both the freedom and the freedom unlimited, but that card just has 1.5% cash back on everything and not the 2% you were looking for

I do a few sign ups a year. Part of my formula is the long term use of the card. I’m making about 5% per transaction. The citi custom cash comes in handy.

To supplement Citi, a Rewards+ gives 10% bonus on redemptions. It can also be used for mortgage or student loan payments.

Hello! I've been enjoying your videos and they are helping me stay on track with paying down my debt. I looked into getting this Wells Fargo card, but it doesn't seem very easy to redeem the cash on this - it looks you have you have a Wells Fargo checking account in order to redeem cash, and those have fees unless you keep at least $500 in them. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!

Have you ever seen a credit card charge an annual fee after having it for years with no annual membership fee? I have a Citi card that I don't remember ever having a membership fee (I've had it probably 5 years now) and they just charged me $99.
