i loved the reliance on animatronic and suit work but I don't think fede had the skill to film them properly. they came off as stiff and slow. honestly I was underwhelmed by how quick they died. fantastic design overall though.

Just kind of sad that the xenomorphs were so forgettable. It’s like Fede Alvarez was so focused on getting practical effects he completely forgot how to iconise them.

I thought they looked kind of crappy and cheap, the lips barely moved, everything seemed very rudimentary
