The “Female Tech Entrepreneurs Forum: Preparing for Greece's Cloud-Based Future” unfolded as a two-day forum with the participation of American and Greek female tech entrepreneurs and funders. The program was part of POWER (Providing Opportunities for Women’s Economic Rise), a U.S. State Department initiative that aims to offer an eclectic mix of presentations and interactive workshops ranging from how to secure venture capital to incorporating tech best practices.

During the first day of the event Greek and U.S. experts offered presentations about their entrepreneurial experiences and led a series of workshops or “deep dives” on specific topics of interest. The day concluded with mentoring sessions with American and Greek mentors.

The second day of the event was addressed to stakeholders who could help bridge the gender gap in entrepreneurship in Greece. U.S. and international experts shared best practices designed to boost female high growth entrepreneurship and build a supportive ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.
