I feel like ppl confuse a lot of champs that snowball out of control with late game scaling because when a champ snowballs they end the game at 22 mins and that feels like late game

Trynd was a lategame champ in season 2 because crit items were so FUCking expensive. and the idea just stuck around forever

People think good scaling = late game champ, but in reality the champion has to be a strong team fighter to be good mid to late. Which tryndamere, like yi might scale well, but gets shutdown in teamfights by cc.

I think it also depends on team comp. Trynd is useless if every champ on enemy team counters him.

To be fair any champ without scaling passives doesn't scale.
This is because league changed. Now mid game you have 3 complete items and late game is not even when you finish build. It's when elder spawns. Plus junglers now prefer to delay the first two drakes to play according to their power spikes and getting two heralds to open the map.

Other guy is right. Every single Tryndamere game is the same. Fed or not, just hard pushing turrets. It’s the same as a Yorick, never fights, just pounds turrets the whole game

When behind i LITERALLY build to NOT FIGHT my lane opponent and take towers. There is a reason why Trynd was once placed as assassin. He rewards good timing, prep, and vision control

U know how many trind mains I have seen suck very bad but just keep farming all game and end up back dooring the base getting everything besides the nexus and makes the game that much harder to win

Trynd is OP late game because at full build he will solo push a lane and the enemy team requires minimum of 2 people to deal with him because trynd will put duel most 1v1s with his R. This gives his team a lot more map control which is crucial at baron timings or soul/elders. If they don't deal with him they're losing an inhib if the enemy team chooses to go for outer objectives first.

A lot of the older champs suck and need reworks. Teemo is one of the odd ones that has had very few kit changes and somehow stands the test of time. He's not AMAZING right now but he's still standing there... menacingly...

He is early game thanks to the slow and crit + ad given via his passivs.
As soon a adc has the slows and items needed to deal with that he just get outrunned

Im confused. Late/midgame when Im playing trynd I just dive enemy backline and he feels pretty strong. While enemy team is focusing me l am killing their carries and my team is killing their everything. Trynd not dying for at least 5 seconds and being able to kill a carry in under 3 means you can do some serious damage as one person.

He’s not late game, he just reaches his late game exceptionally early sometimes when you’re still in your early game

tryn is one of the most expensive champions in terms of items you need, if you don't get a big lead u are average and useless late so he is not wrong

Trynd can 1-2 shot squishies late game so people kinda think he’s late game but honestly every champ can do that.

I feel like tryndamere is strong at 1, falls off till 6 then he’s strong again unless behind.
IDK abt late game i’m low elo. late game is usually me tearing down side lanes while my team dies in the enemy jungle
