2 Quick Easy Knots That Hold In Slippery Rope

A splice you can make in :30 secs (the "Farmer's Splice"); plus a simple knot for joining two lines that will hold in typical cheap polypropylene. Note: many knots slip in polypro, or come undone. These ones don't, and each can be made in a few seconds. And then unmade later!

For a couple of years I have used a rolling hitch to tie the poly rope of my shade sail in the back yard and it never really stayed taut until today when I saw your neat video and took my granddaughter outside and we weaved that beauty of yours!! Almost threw away new rope because knots simply unravelled when limp. Your splicing works great. Sheep bends still unravell when limp however, splicing each side of the sheep bend works a treat. Rock solid! Huge thanks to you for this video.
